On Saturday, Oct.10, 2009, city chorus Nashville in Harmony (NiH) became a marauding mob. More accurately, NiH unleashed what is known as a “flash mob” where a musical group surreptitiously mingles among an unsuspecting crowd and then, on cue, breaks out into song. The group "flashed" the Nashville Farmers Market, the Southern Festival of Books at Legislative Plaza, Metro Transit Authority Depot, Dog Day Festival at Centennial Park, Swoozies at the Hills Center in Green Hills, and last, Whole Foods Market.
