VOCAL INTERVIEWS
Our auditions are non-threatening, so we call them vocal interviews. They last about ten minutes and consist of simple singing and pitch-matching. There’s no need to prepare anything. At your interview, you’ll meet a few current NiH members who are there to help. You'll be notified of the results of your interview via email. |
VOLUNTEER5TH SECTION
Our non-singing 5th Section volunteers are an important part of the NiH family. There are a ton of opportunities available to people who want to join us in changing the world through music, like helping with outreach events, handing out flyers, or joining one of our committees. |

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."

As Nashville’s only LGBT and allies chorus, we have a unique opportunity to represent the gay community and its supporters. Music touches hearts in ways that words never will. By being a part of NiH, you set yourself apart as a proud example to others who may not have positive role models in their lives.
No matter how different we are, we can all work successfully together and have a great time doing it. If you become a part of NiH, whether as a singer, instrumentalist or volunteer, expect to be a part of something that reaches out to people and makes our entire community stronger.

JOIN OUR YOUTH CHORUS
Major Minors (our youth chorus) is a group for young people, ages 12-18, to be themselves without apology. Its mission is to use music to build community and create social change. The chorus is a safe, welcoming, and accessible place for all youth that celebrates the joy, diversity, strength, and pride of today’s young people. Major Minors singers find their own voice and unique identity within a welcoming community.
